Now that the insulation and wiring is covered up behind a new ceiling and new walls, this Living Room finally starts to resemble a habitable space!
Having our fireplace framed out and installed makes a big difference too.

This colour works so well with the kitchen floor tiles and light wall colour (Benjamin Moore "Snow on the mountain"), and I can't wait to see it all in place!
The guest shower room is waterproofed and made ready for tiling. The small horizontal window allows light into what would otherwise be a dark and claustrophobic room.
The guest room walls are painted in a colour (Benjamin Moore "Nantucket Breeze") that differs from the blue scheme in the kitchen...
This soft grey-green color is well suited to a bedroom, and works with the other neutral shades used in the house.
